Philosophy

• The College of Nursing identifies that changes in health status reflect in response to the stressors, strength of the external environment and the power and blessings of the Almighty. Nursing education provides the foundation in holistic assessment, evidence-based care giving and leadership for professional practice through clinical reasoning and judgement, continuing education and research activities to uphold the dignity of the profession, as nurses are the professionals who enact multifaceted roles to promote optimum level of wellness to the humanity as a whole in their life events.
• We recognize that nursing is a profession which values the dignity and worth of persons by providing quality and culturally sensitive care and shoulder the responsibilities with various intra professional health care team using clinical information systems to care for diverse populations in an ever-changing global society.
